Identifying a computer using IP address (or some other unique value) vs hostname
In a customer environment where many computers share the same hostname (eg. machines in a large distributed convenience store infrastructure), it would be very useful to be able to register the computer via its IP address or some other unique value, instead of just relying on hostnames/FQDN. Perhaps a feature to allow the customer to select the IP address (or a unique agent registration ID) to be used in our management and operations consoles - without the need for scripting or a convoluted workaround.
8 votesThank you for your feedback. We understand the need to uniquely identify computers in environments where identical hostnames are used across different domains within the same tenant.
Supporting this scenario would require coordinated changes across several DriveLock components, including careful consideration of update scenarios and backward compatibility. Due to the scope and complexity involved, we are currently unable to prioritize this request.

DCC/DOC: Restart agent service via remote connection
Occasionally there will be a need to manually restart the main DL agent service (enforce policy update, etc.). Suggesting to add the possibility to perform agent service restart while connected remotely using DCC or DOC. This is to be restricted to specific admins/operators only.
6 votesThank you for your suggestion. We do not currently plan to add an option to restart the DriveLock Agent service remotely through DCC or DOC.
The agent is designed to apply configuration and policy changes without requiring a service restart. Situations in which a restart is necessary should therefore be investigated as a technical issue through the appropriate support channel.
For this reason, we are closing this request.

Status not compliant
Status NOT COMPLIANT overwrites Status OK in DCC this is not good because a NOT Compliant Drivelock Agent is stil OK. There should be a separate sub status displayed, many customers turn off the compliant feature so it doesn't happen

DOC deployment installation option should support DriveLock groups
In the new DOC 21.2, it is possible to deploy new agent on computer. It would be very nice to be able to use drivelock groups here instead of a static list of PCs.
2 votesThe deployment options are ok for individual computers. Otherwise, we ask customers to use a software distribution solution. I am therefore closing the request.

Multiselection in white list rules under devices is not possibe
In policy editor, it is possible to multi select WLR under drives in order to move them or delete them but it is not possible to do the very same thing in the devices category. It will be nice to have the same functionality.

Suggesting to allow and facilitate sharing of custom DOC dashboards and widgets created by DriveLock users (customers, resellers, consultants, etc.) via UserVoice or any other suitable platform.

it would be nice if you could show the self-service unlock as a tile on the agent user interface.2 votesAfter much deliberation, we have decided to respectfully decline this feature request. We will look into this again as part of a new end-user UI.

DOC Berichte selbst anpassen/erweitern - USB Stick Whitelist Regeln
Ich habe in den Kommentaren jeweils vermerkt, für was der zugelassene USB-Stick genutzt wird.
Diese Information wollte ich gerne im wöchentlichen DOC Bericht "Kürzlich blockierte Laufwerke" mit ausgeben, damit ich direkt sehe wo welcher Stick genutzt wurde.

Integration of Windows Hello (PIN) in the PBA for login
Please integrate Windows Hello (at least PIN) into your PBA as an additional login option.
1 votePre-Boot Authentication (PBA) is a security measure that occurs before the operating system starts. It ensures that only authorized users can boot the system.
Windows Hello is Microsoft’s modern authentication framework that supports:
- PIN, Face recognition, Fingerprint login
Important: Windows Hello only works after Windows has started. It's part of the Windows login process, not pre-boot.
Windows Hello is a post-boot authentication mechanism.
PBA takes place before the OS loads, often in a custom mini-OS or bootloader from security vendors.
This means Windows Hello cannot be used in traditional PBA environments, unless a vendor mimics its behavior (e.g., using a similar PIN mechanism).
Windows Hello cannot be directly integrated into traditional PBA because it is tied to Windows.
What is possible: PIN-based authentication in the PBA, similar to Windows Hello, but not using its APIs.

Filter im Knoten Betrieb - Agenten Ferncontrolle
In der DMC sollte es möglich sein unter dem Knoten einen Filter zu implementieren, so das man z.b. Nach dem Computernamen oder dem angemeldeten Nutzer Filtern kann. Bei ca. 10000 Computern ist ohne Filter ein suchen sehr mühselig

Export the reports to UNC path
Subject: Need automatic DOC Report export to Network shares and drives
Content: Today sheduled daily reports can configured with an Action for Sending these Reports to an eMail.
However we do need here a new "Actions Target" feature, so that sheduled DOC Reports also are automatically stored to a configured Network share.Soon when you have created this UserVoice

We have decided not to implement automatic report exports to network shares or UNC paths, as this approach would also be difficult to support consistently in a cloud environment.
However, with DriveLock 2026.2, scheduled reports can also be sent in CSV format in addition to PDF.

Deactivate MQTT on the server
It should be possible to disable MQTT on the server side as well. The existing option to disable MQTT on the client side via policy is not sufficient in my opinion. It should best be configurable via a feature in the DMC UI.
1 voteDisabling MQTT by policy provides a way to respond to restrictions on the use of MQTT communications in certain situations and environments.
We do not foresee disabling MQTT server-side at this time, as it is a central part of the DriveLock components' technical communication, the use of which will continue to expand in the future.

DOC: Refresh individual widgets
Currently you can only refresh the whole dashboard tab. Suggesting to also add the feature to allow refreshing a specific widget as needed.
1 voteRefreshing the dashboard is fast and all widgets are usually updated within 1-2 seconds.
The effort for implementing this would exceed the value/outcome.
When an auto-update capability will be available, the need for this is estimated even lower. -
DCC User.config
Es sollte möglich sein den Speicherort der user.config oder Ihren Inhalt anzupassen, um einen DES als Standard für das ControlCenter zu setzen oder die Datei im Roaming Profil zu speichern.
Wir verwenden u.a. Citrix um das DCC zur Verfügung zu stellen. Dadurch müssen die betroffenen Kollegen für die Verwendung des DCC fast täglich den DES eintragen.1 voteNach finaler Prüfung werden wir keine Änderungen mehr am DCC durchführen, welches durch das DOC abgelöst wird und schon heute genutzt werden kann.
Mit der Version 2021.1 wird auch “Scheduled Reporting” zur Verfügung stehen. -
Multitenant overview in Management Console policy view (CSP)
With the new version 2020 we lost the ability in DriveLock Management console to have an overview on all defined CSP policies. This function was present in older version and is greatly missed by admins who controll multitenant environment.
Maybe a setting in the database can restore the view?
1 voteDeclined: Cross-tenant policy overview conflicts with tenant isolation and would require major redesign. Not aligned with current priorities; tenant-based management remains the supported approach.
