change icon of Managment Console and Policy Editor
Change the Management Console Icon.
Change the Edit Policy Icon.These are both the same and every demo i do i get asked this question. Can we change it.
3 votesWe will not change the icon of our DMC, it is just another instance and therefor has the same icon.
In the future all policies will be edited in our DriveLock Operations Center anyway. -
In the Drivelock Management Console it is not possible to set the FQDN like in the DCC
In the Drivelock Management Console it is unfortunately not possible to set the FQDN as in the DCC, this means for our hotline that a manual entry of the device with FQDN (cross-domain) must always be entered in order to connect to the devices from another domain. It would be very helpful to implement this also in the DLMC.
3 votesWe are currently working on reducing the DMC feature set to a policy editor only. All other functionality will be soon available in the DOC completely.

Office-365 Integration for DriveLock File Protection
As a user I want to use my encrypted folder (or files) in a seamless way in Office-365 (i.e. stored on OneDrive for Business or SharePoint).

As a security operator I want to control if a user can access specific cloud services (Dropbox, Box.com etc.) or not.
I want to control local cloud folders. I also want to apply file filters to these folders and be able to enforce encryption.

Custom-Alert-Notification
As an Admin, I would like to be able to enter an "alert range" for the defined filters, so that as soon as certain values are exceeded or fallen below I will be notified by email (or mobile app)

Use of user groups for Bitlocker policies
Currently it is not possible to assign Bitlocker policies to individual user groups. Would be great to have such ability for clients with logged on service accounts or specific users which are not able to read the Bitlocker pre-boot message, i.e. visually impaired users.

Automatische Löschung von nicht verwendeten permanent freigegebenen Laufwerken
Da sich innerhalb des Unternehmens Abteilungen, Prozesse verändern und Mitarbeiter ausscheiden wäre eine Möglichkeit einzustellen das Laufwerke/Geräte die x Tage nicht mehr verwendet wurden, automatisch aus der Whitelist gelöscht werden sinnvoll. User melden sich meistens nur wenn sie was brauchen und nicht wenn sie etwas nicht mehr brauchen.
2 votesVielen Dank für Ihren Feature Request bezüglich der automatischen Entfernung nicht mehr genutzter, dauerhaft freigegebener Laufwerke.
Mit der Version 2025.1 bietet DriveLock bereits eine deutliche Verbesserung: In den Laufwerksregeln ist nun ersichtlich, wann ein Laufwerk zuletzt verwendet wurde. Diese Spalte lässt sich zudem filtern bzw. sortieren, sodass lange Zeit ungenutzte Einträge schnell identifiziert und gelöscht werden können – eine Aufgabe, die nur noch wenige Minuten erfordert.
Aufgrund des geringen manuellen Aufwands und der potenziellen Risiken einer Automatisierung wird dieser Feature Request aktuell nicht weiterverfolgt.

More option for ALF local learning ending time
Actually, the setting for the local learning process time can be configured by days. It would be helpfull to be able to stop the process manually (DOC and drivelock.exe) and to have the option to end the learning process after the first reboot.
The idea behind this is to scan the drive after the OS installation, give some time to the IT departement to install softwares and stop the process before the PC is given to the user either manually or after a reboot.
2 votesThe field 'Duration ...' in the Policy Editor refers to ABC, but not to AC. However, you can start the learning process for the local whitelist for AC later using the setting above: set 'Start learning' to 'Disabled' and trigger the learning process later via a remote task or through the eTray icon (user). This might be the solution for both the UserVoice entry and the incident.

2 votesThank you for your feedback and suggestion regarding the responsive design for the DriveLock Operations Centre (DOC). We understand the importance of usability on mobile devices and know that flexibility on different devices plays an important role.
However, we would like to inform you that the DOC was deliberately designed for use on desktops and tablets, as effective operation on smaller screens, such as a smartphone, would not meet our quality and security standards. There are therefore currently no plans to adapt the DOC for smartphones.

Security Awareness Content in der Bibliothek zeitlich begrenzbar/ einstellbar machen
Ich würde den Security Awareness Content gerne zeitlich begrenzt auch in der Security-Awareness-Bibliothek darstellen können. Wenn ich die Jahresplanung für die Kampagnen erstelle, hat der Mitarbeiter sämtliche Trainings gelistet von verschiedenen Themen. Ich würde es gerne so einstellen, dass er nur Trainings zum aktuellen Thema aufrufen kann.

Want to remote write volume.id files (from DOC).
We do need a feature to write volume.id files remotely.
This should be implemented via DOC.
We can not install the DMC everywhere on clients, just to write
a volume.id. Also the device (production machines) are to heavy
to carry them into the IT department for whitelisting.
Signing the volume.id with password would be fine for us,
we don't need it full implemented, like signing with certificates.2 votesWe cannot reproduce it and have not received any more feedback

Autostart/delay/non-autoplay of awareness campaigns
We have set the trigger for "start campaign" to "at logon".
Logon can take up to one minute for us. But the video sometimes starts already in the background, before the desktop is visible.
If the campaign consists of a 3 minute video, the user misses 1/3.
We need a way to to set a delay (1-X Minutes) for the "immediate start".
An alternative way would be that the window apperas and the user has to click the "play" button himself.

DOC deployment installation option should support DriveLock groups
In the new DOC 21.2, it is possible to deploy new agent on computer. It would be very nice to be able to use drivelock groups here instead of a static list of PCs.
2 votesThe deployment options are ok for individual computers. Otherwise, we ask customers to use a software distribution solution. I am therefore closing the request.

3rd party events should be directly sent by SMTP/SNMP
it seams 3rd party event can only be sent to the DES as oppose to DriveLock events that can be sent directly by the agent through SNMP/SMTP. Ths should be the case for 3rd party events too.

Multiselection in white list rules under devices is not possibe
In policy editor, it is possible to multi select WLR under drives in order to move them or delete them but it is not possible to do the very same thing in the devices category. It will be nice to have the same functionality.

Make secure deletion feature available with File Protection
Currently the "secure delete" utility is only available with Encryption 2-Go license. Suggesting to also include it with File Protection license.

Too many messages, event ID: 129, because of locked devices
Every time a user connects an iPhone or Android phone to a computer, our Drivelock server gets a message that a device has been connected there. This is not allowed by us and the device will be locked, then different
Messages are sent Event ID: 129.
Now my question, is it possible to create a rule in these cases:
That the user always gets a message (bigger message, not only in the systray) to disconnect the device immediately until he disconnects the device? So that always new messages appear, which the user must click away and he is quasi forced…2 votes -
Agent Updates with Citrix 2016 Desktop
We use Citrix 2016 Desktop as an alternative to software distribution in our agency. With agent updates, the respective end devices should always be rebooted as soon as possible. However, we cannot set this in the update policy because the users cannot see the reboot warnings in the Citrix session, they only appear on the Citrix host. The devices would then just reboot and kick the users out of the Citrix session.
We would need to find a way to make the message visible in the Citrix desktop. Perhaps the reboot warning could also appear in the Windows notifications. We…
