  1. Temporäre Freigabe / Self-Service für einzelne Wechseldatenträger

    Durch die Bestätigung der Verwendungsrichtlinie mit Eingabe des Windows Kennwortes wird die SB-Freigabe gestartet.
    Die SB-Freigabe, so wie auch die temporäre Freigabe ist in der Lage nur den jeweiligen Wechseldatenträger freizugeben, der auch als Trigger für den Aufruf fungierte.
    Hierzu wird eine USB-Port und Seriennummer Kombination benutzt.
    Die Freigabe jedes anderen Wechseldatenträgers benötigt zwingend eine weitere SB-Freigabe.
    (Im Falle mehrerer Partitionen, kann eine Partition ausgewählt werden.) - nicht für unseren Use-Case, aber generell eine gute Featureerweiterung.
    Es wird nur der jeweilige Wechseldatenträger freigegeben, der auch als Trigger für dessen Aufruf fungierte.

  2. API Erweiterung - Tool gestützte Freigabe von Devices und Applikationen

    Um eine möglichst großen Teil der Aufgaben in DriveLock automatisiert und Toolbasiert ablaufen zu lassen wäre die Erweiterung der API sehr hilfreich. Besipiel hier wären die Automatisierten Freigaben von Devices und Applikationen über die API.

  3. Dark Mode bzw. Dunkelmodus

    Es wäre schön, dass im DOC die Möglichkeit besteht (Toggle), dieses auch im Dark Mode anzeigen zu lassen. Ist mittlerweile in sehr vielen Apps standard und extrem gut genutzt. :)

  4. Want to manage COM Ports over the SelfService

    Today as by 23.2 release only global Blocking or Whilelist for COM ports is possible today.
    The DriveLock SelfService Feature should be possible to manage the COM/LPT Ports as well.

  5. BitLocker Protector Status

    It should be possible to find / filter clients in the DoC for which the protector status of the BitLocker encryption has been disabled. Currently, clients with this status are displayed as OK / Green, although the devices might be vulnerable.

  6. Support gMSA (Group Managed Service Accounts) as DES service account

    As a customer I want to reduce the problem of service accounts with static passwords.
    For this reason Microsoft offers a feature called gMSA (Group Managed Service Accounts).
    Please implement a change, so the DES Service will support gMSA within a future release.

  7. DOC: Run commands on groups and multiple computers

    Currently running commands can be done only on individual computers under DOC > Computers page. Suggesting to add the ability to issue commands on multiple computers under the same page mentioned above, as well as issue commands on group(s) under DOC > Groups page.

  8. DOC: Auto-refresh and auto-toggle dashboard

    For SOCs and ability to display on big monitoring screens (SecOps style), DOC dashboards should have auto-refresh feature. Refresh intervals should be configurable (every 1 minute, 10 minutes, etc.). DOC dashboards should also have the ability to toggle between dashboard tabs every X amount of time (configurable).

  9. Support of Azure AD objects (e.g. groups)

    We would like to give different users on our InTune managed notebooks access to certain devices based on Azure-AD groups and not to other users.

  10. Citrix Container Mapping > 4GB

    As described in KBA00248, no "pass-through" of encrypted containers to USB sticks (Encryption 2-Go) larger than 4GB is possible in the Citrix world.
    It would be nice to extend or even remove this limitation.

  11. SB-Freigabe-Gruppe Domänen Rechner/User Benutzung OHNE Verbindung zum AD

    Wir benötigen diese SB-Freigaben hauptsächlich für unsere Außendienstmitarbeiter/Techniker welche im Ausland tätig sind und nicht zu den normalen Arbeitszeiten (Zeitverschiebung) bei uns wegen der Offline-Freigabe anrufen können. Alle Notebooks hängen an der Domäne hier bei uns. Es gibt keine lokalen User auf den NB. Darum müsste die SB-Freigabe auch über die gespeicherten AD-Profile funktionieren und nicht nur mit lokalen Usern bzw. nicht nur bei einer VPN-Verbindung zum AD/Domäne.

  12. Device control for devices connected via Bluetooth

    When using Bluetooth mouse and keyboards, the Bluetooth adapter / dongle must be enabled.

    However, it is currently not possible to control the devices that are connected via this Bluetooth adapter / dongle via DriveLock.

    If the Bluetooth adapter / dongle is enabled, any Bluetooth device can be connected and used.

    It would be desirable here if the approved devices could also be defined in this case.

  14. Pre-Boot Domain Authentification

    Leider kann ein Benutzer eines neuen Gerätes, das eine Festplatten-Verschlüsselung enthält, sich nicht beim Pre-Boot an der Domäne authentifizieren. Man muss zuerst das Gerät mit einer bekannten ID starten, um dann sich von Windows abzumelden und mit der Benutzer-Kennung an der Domäne anzumelden. Da führt dazu, dass die Verschlüsselung oft ad absurdum geführt wird, da die Erstanmeldung, die lokal durchgeführt wird und über das Image kommt, mittelfristig bekannt wird.

  15. Missing entries in Explorer based on voluntary encryption of USB sticks

    Subject: Encryption 2-Go
    When encrypting USB sticks on a voluntary basis (not forced), no entry appears in the Explorer (right mouse button) to initiate the encryption, also all other entries available in the Start menu or in the taskbar are missing.

  16. Bildschirmtastatur Surface Pro

    Zum Login wird die Bildschirmtastatur vom Surface Pro benötigt.
    Momentan wird dies seitens DriveLock leider nicht unterstützt und zum Login ist aktuell immer eine externe Tastatur (TypeCover oder USB) nötig.

  17. Windows Defender Antivirus Integration

    For years, DriveLock has offered a great anti virus integration for removable drives which was free of charge. It has been removed in version 7.8.x .

    This feature was very convenient and could be reintroduce together with Windows Defender Antivirus (WDA). All the pieces for the integration should be there already.

  18. Selective Simulation Mode for each different Device class type

    Currently there is only a Global Simulation Mode available and would like the option to be able to select a class type and put that device class type into simulation mode, our environment is already in production and initially we only implemented Drive Policies but would now like to implement more restrictive Device control but this is extremely risky
    * Emable simulation Mode (Globally) and we disable our current security posture on Drives

  19. DOC Companion should be part of ALF special rule DriveLock

    Even if a "DriveLock" special rule is created to allow drivelock components to runf doc-companion is blocked by AC. DOC-copanion online and offline installer should be include into the special Drivelock-Rule.

  20. MQTT (Port 8883) using an 30years SelfSigned Certificate

    MQTT Port 8883 is using an 30years (running time) SelfSigned Certificate, which will be not replaced by ChangeDesCert.exe

    Please implement a Feature within ChangeDesCert.exe tool that
    MQTT Port 8883 will use the same SSL certificate, used by the other DES Server TCP Ports (6667 and 4568)

    Our Company Security Audit (vulnerability scan) detected the Port 8883 with this old SelfSigned Certificate behind.
