1. Permanently unlock devices directly from within the DOC

   With 2021.2 permanently unlocking single drives has become easier than ever before. It would be great to have the same capability for other devices like cameras, smartphones.
   Unlocking applications previously blocked by DriveLock application control has been added with 2022.1.

   We implemented a fix on how enforced encryption is configured. This will set access to “allow for all users” automatically.

3. Standard configuration for auto update should be no update

   under global config > config the settings for automatic update should be set to "no update" when this setting is set to "not configure". Otherwise their might be a configuration conflict with other policies when multiple policy are in use.

4. App Control: Allow multiple hash algorithms simultaneously

   Current settings allow specifying only one hash algorithm before creating any AC rules. There is an increase in the use of indicators of compromise (IOCs) which some customers use to protect against emerging or existing threats. Usually those IOCs will contain hash values of known-bad files (malware) to be imported and blocked. However, depending on the intelligence source, such hash values can be based off various hashing algorithms, which will be a problem for DriveLock customers who are using a different hash algorithm. The suggestion is to support the use of multiple hash algorithms at the same time both when scanning endpoints and when manually creating blacklist/whitelist rules. Among the suggested and most commonly used algorithms are MD5, SHA1 and SHA256.

5. 2 Factor Authentification

   It is to be examined whether Drivelock can be used to equip USB data carriers (which are to be procured internally via SAP - e.g. Kingston Data Traveler) with 2-factor authentication (2-FA). Or if other USB data carriers (sticks) are available on the market that fulfill a 2FA requirement.

   A two-factor authentication for DOC logon using SAML is already available for our cloud customers.

6. Neue Spalten für DOC

   Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

   wir würden gerne auf das DOC wechseln um nicht mehr das DCC nutzen zu müssen. Allerdings fehlen noch einige Kleinigkeiten. Es müsste die Möglichkeit geben Agents zu installieren.

   Außerdem wäre es hilfreich, wenn die gleichen Spalten im DOC für Computer verfügbar wären, wie im DCC. Wir vermissen z.B. folgende Spalten: ConfigID, File Protection, Gerätekontrolle, Laufwerkskontrolle, Bitlocker ist vorhanden, ...

   Wir benutzen diese Spalten, um den Zustand der PCs zu überwachen, um z.B. fehlerhafte Konfigurationen sehen zu können. Bestimmte Geräte müssen bestimmte Policies haben und es müssen auch bestimmte Produkte von Drivelock aktiviert sein. Über das DOC können wir das aktuell nicht nachverfolgen, da diese Werte nur in der Detailansicht verfügbar sind.

   Gibt es hierzu Pläne für die nächsten Releases oder Alternativen, z.B. eine eigene Abfrage mit Suchfiltern, die man z.B. auch per Rest (für PRTG z.B.) einsetzen kann?

7. Add Portuguese(Brazil/ABNT2) keyboard language on PBA.

   I'd like to suggest an update on DriveLock (BitLocker) to add Portuguese(Brazil/ABNT2) keyboard language on PBA. We're using DriveLock Agent 20.1.2.29910 and have problems with the keyboard language. We already opened a ticket #INC06363 and the support team suggests us to do a feature request because the current Agent 20.1.2.29910 doesn't support the Portuguese(Brazil/ABNT2) keyboard language on PBA.

   New keyboard layouts are released with DriveLock 2021.1

8. Awareness campaign with link

   For a campaign via link to the Internet, it should be possible not only to open the link via the DriveLock window, but also via the standard browser. Possibly as an additional setting in the campaign or with a button "Open page in browser" on the campaign window. (or similar solution)
   Unfortunately, the standard window does not display the entire content of a web page.

11. DriveLock Operation Center: Filtering for devices that have not yet been assigned to a group

    In DriveLock Operation Center you should be able to create a view or widget that maps the DCC help desk function "ConfigID [Computer]" and displays the assigned policy names.
    Such a view or widget could be used to filter out and display the devices that do not yet have all the necessary policies.

    The computer list view in the DOC meanwhile is able to display a row “Policies”, which lists all the policies with the assigned names.

12. RE-link Agent

    If the agents are un-able to reach their dedicated (linked) DES, e.g. in a highly secure distributed environment, we would like to be able to assign all these clients a new DES.
    Our feature request would be a button in the MMC or the CC with the function "re-link agents".
    Underlying could be a script that executes "drivelock -setserver" on the clients in question with the drivelock agent control feature over port 6065.
    We would also like to be able to choose the (AD) account that is used in this specific scenario.

13. Whitelist CDROM media (not the device)

    We want do have a feature within DriveLock Device control
    to whitelist CDROM/DVD media (not the device).
    We believe this can be implemented in future with the help
    of the DriveLock volume.id feature for SD card readers,
    which ignores the real vendor and product of a card reader,
    when a proper secure and different volume identification exist.

    For CD media such an volume identification file can not be
    written afterwards to the CD or DVD.

    But how about to read the "volume label" first few chars to
    create a "Vendor String" and create a Hash from the entire
    drive for a "serial number" instead ?

    If the "cdromhash" feature is enabled within a policy, similar
    like enabeling "volume.id" for SD cards, then for CD drive types
    this pseudo vid/pid might be possible to create, to be able to
    whitelist a single media, instead of the entire (real) device.

    We want do have a feature within DriveLock Device control

    it should be possible to configure Bitlocker2GO with the same functionalities as DL2GO. Especially the options to hide it for the end user are important. Startmenu items , context menu items, etc should be configurable

16. DriveLock Bitlocker Management Option für Entschlüsselung deaktivieren

    Es soll möglich sein die Verschlüsselung am PC beizubehalten wenn das DriveLock-BitLocker-Management entfernt wird oder wenn die BLM-Lizenz entzogen wird.

    Dass das Management von BitLocker durch DriveLock eingestellt wird, soll nicht dazu führen dass die PCs schutzlos gemacht werden. Siehe auch INC04464.

    Diese zusätzliche Einstellung ist seit DriveLock 2019.2 SP1 bei den Verschlüsselungseinstellungen zu finden. Eine Entschlüsselung kann nun entweder um x Tage verzögert oder komplett unterbunden werden.

17. Einstellungen Available end user functions

    "Home" page kann nicht aktiviert bleiben, wenn "Unlock agent" und "My network profiles" deaktiviert wurde.

    Die Einstellung "Home" page unter "Agent and awareness campaign user interface settings" muss auch ohne Auswahl der untergeordneten Funktionen möglich sein.
